The Cart Shed Restaurant

Set on a working farm at the edge of Epping Forest, The Cart Shed is a small, fiercely independent restaurant rooted in seasonal British produce and bold countryside cooking.

We grow what we can, raise what we serve, and source the rest as locally and responsibly as possible — often from friends and neighbours. Game birds, heritage grains, honey from our hives, and vegetables pulled straight from the soil all make their way onto the plate.

Inspired by the herbs, fruits, flowers, and botanicals grown right here on the farm, the menu celebrates fresh flavours, wild infusions, and crisp summer drinks. Expect garden spritzes, shaken classics, sparkling wines, and thoughtful non-alcoholic options — all served with relaxed countryside charm.

This is countryside chill at its finest — open skies, low lighting, and a curated selection of high-quality shisha. Whether you’re joining friends for a relaxed evening or looking to unwind under the stars, we’ve created a space that feels effortlessly calm and welcoming.
